My Last Hope
A downloadable game for Windows
This game was made in under a week for Dani's Basement Jam.
A child who has lost his village to fire goes further into the forest and finds a pit to a pretty underworld. Will he find his last hope there?
Navigate the strange and colorful terrain with seamless level transitions with no loading screens and find glowing fruits to push through the obstacles in your journey.

Once Downloaded:
Open WindowsNoEditor(2)>Open Danis_Basement_Jam.exe
You may need to extract the folder first

I'll start with the things to improve on:
- Jumping has a cooldown, but you can spam the jump sound.
- The I had to spam the interaction key and move around the items to try to grab them it didn't work very well 60% of the time I don't know why.
- The items were really small and it'd be hidden by the foliage so finding the torch took me some time. Maybe it was intended?
I didn't understand the meaning of "A Terrible Time" in this game, but the ambience is sooooo STUNNING! Professional level, definitely! :)
The music is also relaxing and the lightning is very well done.
The fact the character had lights in the eyes and s/he/it didn't have shoes makes the atmosphere even better. Did you use the standard UE4 lights?
The tutorial at the beginning was a good idea.

You need to grab the Jump Boost Fruit to jump up the hill and grab the torch
